The recall affects 700ml bottles sold in England and Scotland, with specific batch codes that customers should check: 25374, 25375, 25381, 25382, 25435, 25442, and 25444. The affected bottles were produced due to an anomaly on the bottle line, which led to the potential contamination. This recall follows a similar notice issued in the Republic of Ireland, where the same product was recalled for the same issue.
It's important to note that recall notices are not uncommon and can be issued for various reasons. Just this week, health food brand Grape Tree recalled two of its products due to possible contamination with undeclared peanuts and milk.
