At 4:13 a.m., just after an overdue snowmobiler rescue mission finished up and with snow falling all night long, SAR responded to a call for four overdue teens from the Diamond Fork hot pots.

Just as the team prepared to leave the trailhead, the teens showed up – one in nothing but shorts, tennis shoes, and a t-shirt.

Search and Rescue responded at 9:30 p.m. and brought a man and two young children down from Payson Canyon, then assisted some of their own sleds which got stuck and finished the operation at 3:45 a.m. It snowed all night long.

A truck slid off the road two miles up Skyline Drive near the top of Spanish Fork Canyon. Search and Rescue teams pulled the two men back onto the road.

Search and Rescue responded to Lake Mountain where ATVs had broken down.

SAR assisted Orem Police and Fire in searching for a man missing from an Orem care center on an extremely cold night. After searching fields, out buildings, and going door to door, the man was found in a restaurant a few miles away.
