SAR responded to Tibble Fork Reservoir to assist a man who fell through the ice.

An urgent call for a hunter on Utah Lake near Saratoga Springs was canceled within an hour and turned out to be a false alarm.

SAR spent 7 hours – until 1:30 a.m. – assisting an injured back country skier in Hobble Creek Left Fork.

The Utah County man climbed 2,000′ up the ridge north of the golf course and hyperextended his knee. His light was first spotted shining through the snow of a snow cave from an airplane. A rain crust on the snow made the going difficult, but SAR found him otherwise well prepared and assisted him down the mountain.
