UCSSAR.org gets overhaul

Published by Shaun Roundy at 9:44 pm under Information

The official web page of the Utah County Sheriff Search and Rescue volunteer team is being redesigned to better accomplish our goals to:

  • provide outdoor safety information
  • inform the community of SAR activities
  • attract qualified members to join our team
  • encourage donations to support our rescue efforts

Visit often as we add information and rescue reports. Let us know how else we can better serve our community!

Shaun, The site looks great. I am proud to have been a part of SAR. Keep up the good work with the site and on the mountains. I miss you guys!

    Hey Shaun,

Nice work on the website. I continue to look at the info for UCSSAR periodically as you guys/gals were an awesome team to work with. I just wish things here in Northern WI were 1/2 (or 1/10th even) as active as they were out there. You guys do great work and it was a pleasure to serve with you all.

Joel, good to hear from you!

I’ve had your old number – 727 – until getting bumped up last week, and have tried to represent it well. There are about 20 new faces on the team since you left, but over 20 left that you’d recognize. We’d love to hear what you’re up to – I’ll send you our super-secret email address that forwards to the whole team in case you care to send any details.

You’ve given me another reason to work on posting more news about our rescues and activities. I’ll make sure you find new info here more often.

    Shaun
