While two other concurrent missions were going on, a hunter was reported overdue south of Lake Mountain.

The hunter was located in good condition and was camping, not planning to return home until the following day.

While the search for the missing mountain biker was going on, some SAR units were diverted to assist a man with a sprained ankle in the Aspen Grove area, who was evacuated on the wheeled Stokes stretcher.

A mountain biker was reported overdue in the Right Fork of Hobble Creek at 7:48 p.m. Singletrack Special Team (motorcycles) members quickly covered the trail he reportedly rode and where his vehicle was found while other team members searched elsewhere.

He was later found at a gas station at the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon where he had ridden to, and was found in satisfactory yet dehydrated condition.

SAR assisted Sundance Fire in carrying out an injured hiker from Stewart Falls.

A glider crash was reported above Lindon on the face of Baldy. With closer inspection, the wide silver wing of the glider turned out to be an unmanned weather balloon used for arial photography.

To avoid additional calls and community concern, SAR sent a Singletrack Special Team member and other SAR members up the hill to retrieve the balloon. The event turned into an entertaining spot on the local news.

SAR responded to a missing person call at Tibble Fork at 2:44 p.m.

SAR responded to an urgent call at Aspen Grove at 10:31 a.m., finishing the mission by 12:45.

SAR responded at 8:21 a.m. for missing persons reported at Chimney Rock Pass.

Some rafters were reported missing while floating the Spanish Fork River. The call ended within 20 minutes when the children were located.

A 12-year-old male was injured on Timpooneke Road. Life Flight was grounded due to weather and SAR spent the night on the mountain with the victim.
