Teenager injured at Red Cliffs
A teen was injured on a cliff at Red Cliffs, up Diamond Fork Canyon. The page came at 11:31 p.m. and SAR members spent most of the night bringing him down.

A motorcycle rider slipped off a narrow trail several miles from a road. He and his father were unable to get the bike back up the steep hillside, so his father rode for help while the son began walking out.
The father made it several miles to Forest Lake before sliding off the trail and down the steep hillside there.
The SAR Singletrack Special Team (motorcycles) quickly retrieved the two riders, and were hired to return to each bike the next week to help retrieve the motorcycles. A mechanical advantage pulley system was required to bring the first bike back up to the trail.

Dehydrated hikers were brought water by SAR and flown off Tower Mountain by Life Flight. Their dehydrated dog was also given water and a member of the group stayed and hiked down later.

SAR responded to an ATV crash at Silver Lake Flats, and was soon canceled as the victim was taken care of.

SAR responded to locate a pair of missing 10- and 14-year-old children floating the Provo River. Both were found safe.
