A young woman fell from a 30′ cliff at Horsetail Falls above Alpine. SAR teams hiked to the scene and prepared her to be flown out by Life Flight, who used their cable hoist due to the lack of an adequate landing zone.

A 23-year-old male called for help after getting trapped on a steep snowfield in Slate Canyon. The man was able to signal the DPS helicopter with his headlight, after which SAR units accompanied Provo Mountain Rescue units who were flown to Camel Back Pass Road and hiked to the victim.
The victim was roped up and walked down the steep slope by rescuers wearing crampons, and lowered over a few small cliffs, to waiting 4 wheelers and Mules which transported him to the parking lot.

A jeep was reported stuck in the snow in Mineral Basin. SAR units and helicopter responded, but the jeep had already made it out.

Passengers were injured when a Suburban rolled down a hillside above Birdseye during the night. SAR members responded and gave medical assistance until a medical helicopter arrived to transport the victims.

SAR responded to an injured hiker on the Timpooneke Trail on the back side of Timpanogos. The hiker was able to make his way to the trailhead unassisted as SAR units arrived.

A male was injured when his 4-wheeler rolled into the creek in Lake Fork early Sunday morning. Alcohol may have been a factor.

A page for 4 SAR divers was issued to investigate a car found in Spanish Fork River. No victims were located and it was determined not to be an accident.

Two girls hiking near Bridal Veil Falls got stuck in precarious cliffs. SAR teams hiked in from above and below and lowered the girls over a pair of cliff bands to a safe exit.
The girls felt that they weren’t in serious danger, but experienced climbers on the team felt otherwise, pointing out that a tiny slip on the area’s typically-rotten rock could have been fatal.
